At Atria, we have access to ongoing education, training, and professional development via Havan and are continually getting better at what we do with each project. Havan—the Homebuilders Association Vancouver has been recognized as leaders in the homebuilding industry since 1974

Our commitment to quality has garnered us both Residential Builders Licenses and Building Envelope Renovator Licenses—which are not easy to obtain.

Our Management Team

Wojtek Ulasewicz

Founder, General Manager

Construction was Wojtek’s first hobby, and since 2005 it is his business. He learned his trade on the job, first as a subcontractor and now as a Licensed Residential Home Builder and Licensed Building Envelope Renovator. Wojtek gained technical skills by successfully completing construction courses at BCIT, Douglas College in Vancouver and Master Builder Certificate Program at CHBA BC. Wojtek’s integrity helped him to build a wide network of trusted suppliers, architects, engineers, designers, building envelope consultants and subcontractors.

In his free time, Wojtek volunteers and supports the Polish Canadian Sport and Recreation Club Polonia and Puppet Theater Jester Society. Being a part of the Board of Directors in both organizations, Wojtek is organizing many sports, recreation and cultural family events for kids and adults.

Michael Ulasewicz

Assistant Project Manager

Growing up as the son of a construction business owner, I’ve grown up immersed in the world of building and design. This early exposure laid the foundation for my career, influencing my decision to pursue engineering studies and, more recently, to work towards an Architectural Building Technology certification at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).

In my current role within the company, I bring a blend of academic insight and my own experience to every project. I work closely with our team to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency, leveraging my understanding of both engineering principles and architectural design. Balancing the responsibilities of a family-run business with my educational pursuits, I am committed to not only honoring the legacy of our company but also driving it towards innovative and sustainable future projects.

In my free time, I immerse myself in history and explore various building techniques from around the world, constantly seeking inspiration and new perspectives for my work. I also value quality time with family and  friends, enjoying moments of connection and relaxation that balance my busy schedule and enrich my life.

Dustin Kalma

Foreman

With 25 years of experience in the construction industry, I have dedicated 22 years to specializing in Architectural Sheet Metal. My career began with an apprenticeship through CITC, where I earned my Journeyman status. Over the years, I have worked on a diverse range of projects, including residential, industrial, and commercial jobs, overseeing both small and large crews. My expertise extends across various types of roofing, wall cladding, and flashing, utilizing materials such as zinc, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, steel, wood, fiber cement, and vinyl.

My extensive background and hands-on experience have allowed me to excel in both installation and supervision roles within the industry. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and supporting my three boys as they play hockey and soccer. Their activities keep us busy and connected, and I love watching them grow and thrive in their sports.
